Another Note: The serial killer in Los Angeles [4] is a novel written by Nisio Isin and inspired by the story of the manga, which tells of an earlier case detective who sees the FBI agent Naomi Misora, work at side of the detective Elle. The novel, narrated by Mello, begins with the introduction to a series of murders that take place in Los Angeles. Three people, apparently unconnected with each other, were murdered in their rooms locked from inside. The only weak link among the three murders is the presence of strange dolls of Japanese origin, located on each of the crime scene.
